Indomet forecasts pleasant temperatures for this week

Santo Domingo. - The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (INDOMET), forecast pleasant temperatures for today and we will continue under a relatively dry and stable air mass, associated with the high-pressure system over the Atlantic. However, a weak trough to the northeast of the country would interact with the east/northeast wind, causing weak and passing showers in the afternoon until the early hours of the night, over provinces such as: Samaná, María Trinidad Sánchez, Hato Mayor, Monte Plata, San Pedro de Macorís, San Cristóbal, La Vega, Monseñor Nouel, Azua, San Juan, Elías Piña and El Gran Santo Domingo. During the night, some episodes of weak and isolated rains are probable in towns near the Atlantic coast of the nation. Tomorrow, Thursday, the air mass covering us will continue to be relatively dry throughout the country, but the effects of the weak trough and the east/northeast wind will continue to generate occasional increases in cloudiness that will leave weak and short-lived rains over towns in the northeast, southeast and the Central mountain range, such as: Samaná, Hato Mayor, Monte Plata, San Pedro de Macorís, San Cristóbal, Azua, San Juan, Elías Piña and El Gran Santo Domingo. These precipitations will decrease during the night, giving way to a sky with scattered clouds in a large part of the nation.
