The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the US dollar for this Friday, December 19, 2025, as follows:
At the windows of financial institutions, the buying rate was RD$61.80 and the selling rate was RD$63.72.
These data reflect a slight appreciation of the Dominican peso of 0.23% in the purchase and 0.15% in the sale compared to the previous day.
For the change agent sector, the reported rates are RD$62.12 for buying and RD$63.30 for selling.
As in banks, a recovery of the peso is observed in the last month, with an appreciation of 1.79% in the purchase rate.
