Santo Domingo. – Dominican comedian Rafa Bobadilla revealed that he will take on a new challenge within his career as he joins the cast of the program “Noche Duerma”, which premieres next Monday, where, in addition to leading the humor section, he will dare to sing for the first time, although from a very particular proposal linked to imitation.
Bobadilla explained that this project represents an important commitment in his career, as he will be responsible for directing the humorous content of the space broadcast by Radio Televisión Dominicana (RTVD). "Happy, pleased to belong to this cast, and I think it's a challenge for me, because I've never worked daily like this with the commitment I have now that I am, so to speak, the head, the backbone, as far as humor is concerned," said the comedian.
The comedian highlighted that, although he has had experience in daily television, this new format demands a different dynamic, especially because it is a live program. "I have a big commitment, and I am also going to do what I like, which is to do live Humor, the other programs were pre-recorded but live, this is live and I love that," added Bobadilla, highlighting his enthusiasm for the format.
One of the main novelties he announced is that for the first time he will venture into singing within a television project, although he clarified that it is not a traditional musical facet. The comedian explained that he will perform songs imitating artists invited throughout his career.

In that sense, he advanced that his proposal will include imitations of merengue and urban music figures such as Toño Rosario and Omega el Fuerte, among others. In addition, he assured that the space will allow the creation of new characters and humorous routines designed especially for the live format.
Finally, the recent winner of the comedian of the year award at the Soberano Awards, given by the Association of Art Journalists, joked about the recognition received, assuring with laughter that "everything is better with an award", although he highlighted that, beyond the humor, he feels proud of the achievement and that "with an award it is much better enjoyed".
