Santo Domingo.-The Central Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DICRIM) reported that it has intensified the search for two men accused of shooting a National Police agent, assigned to that organization, on January 1st.

The fugitives were identified as Michael Franklyn De Óleo Batista, alias “La Para de la Isabelita”, and Kevin Chanel Matos Sánchez, alias “Niño Gatillo”, who are considered highly dangerous and allegedly heavily armed. Both are identified as responsible for the death of agent Amauris Leonel Feliz De Óleo.

According to the preliminary report, the agent was spending time with family in the Los Mameyes sector of the municipality of Santo Domingo Este, when the suspects arrived on a motorcycle and attempted to steal a fanny pack he was wearing around his waist, believing that he carried his service weapon there.
