Santo Domingo. – The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, will hold a meeting with his US counterpart, Donald Trump, within the framework of a presidential summit to be held on March 7 in the city of Miami.
The information was provided by the Press Director of the President, Carlos Alberto Caminero, who explained that the Dominican president will participate in this high-level meeting convened by the U.S. president, where issues of common interest in the regional and international arena will be addressed.

The meeting between Abinader and Trump takes place in a context of strengthening bilateral relations between the Dominican Republic and the United States, the country's main trading partner and strategic ally in terms of investment, security, migration, and economic cooperation.Although the specific points of the bilateral agenda have not been detailed, both leaders are expected to discuss key issues for the region, as well as cooperation and development initiatives.
In addition to this meeting in the United States, President Abinader will develop an international agenda during the month of March that will include official visits to Chile and France, where he will also hold bilateral meetings and participate in multilateral forums.
