Love is celebrated: Valentine's Day arrives this February 14th

Every February 14th, millions of people around the world celebrate Valentine's Day, also known as Valentine's Day, a date dedicated to love, friendship, and displays of affection.

The tradition has its roots in the history of Saint Valentine, a Roman priest from the 3rd century who, according to legend, secretly celebrated marriages defying the emperor's orders. Over time, his figure became a symbol of romantic love and fidelity. Currently, this date has become one of the most significant celebrations on the commercial and social calendar. Couples exchange flowers, chocolates, letters, and special gifts, while restaurants, hotels, and shops offer themed promotions to commemorate the occasion.

Beyond gifts, specialists agree that the true value of Valentine's Day lies in strengthening emotional bonds and expressing feelings that are often not manifested in daily routine. Likewise, the celebration has expanded to include not only romantic love, but also friendship and affection towards family and loved ones. In different countries, the festivity takes on its own nuances, but it retains the same spirit: to celebrate love in all its forms.
