Santo Domingo. – In an atmosphere of broad fellowship and exchange of information, the commission appointed by the Dominican Olympic Committee (COD) to follow up on the technical and administrative work of the Dominican Fencing Federation (Fedomes) officially delivered the report of the work carried out to the new executive committee of that entity, chaired by Gilberto Soriano Román.
During the meeting, Major General Pilot (r) Elvis Marcelino Feliz Pérez explained to Soriano Román all the work done to ensure the continuity of preparations for the participation of that discipline in the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games 2026, to be held in the country from July 24 to August 8.
Happy Pérez detailed the progress and actions taken during the period he was in charge of the commission, highlighting the efforts aimed at maintaining the operability and technical development of Dominican fencing.
Likewise, he expressed his gratitude for the treatment, consideration, and appreciation shown by the new executive committee of Fedomes towards the work carried out by the commission appointed by the COD.
