Santo Domingo.- The Public Ministry postponed until next Saturday the hearing of the request for coercive measures against Yakomo Hernández de la Rosa, linked to the shooting that occurred on the morning of Monday, February 16, in the National District. The hearing, which was scheduled for this Wednesday, was rescheduled by the corresponding court to continue the legal process against the defendant, who was traveling with the urban artist Masha in the vehicle that was shot at. According to the National Police, Hernández de la Rosa was wanted by the justice system through an active arrest warrant for his alleged participation in the death of Amenzón Stiven Payano, known as “Eminen”, which occurred on January 26 in the Villa Francisca sector. Authorities indicated that investigations are ongoing to clarify both the recent shooting and the previous homicide for which the accused was wanted.

Made with Masha

Furthermore, it was recalled that in October 2025, Hernandez de la Rosa was arrested along with urban interpreter Masha in Villa Francisca, after police officers seized two pounds of marijuana in the trunk of a Honda CR-V in which they were traveling. In that process, both were released after the payment of an economic guarantee and the imposition of periodic reporting. The incident occurred when the car they were traveling in was intercepted by armed individuals at the intersection of 27 de Febrero and Máximo Gómez avenues, where they fired multiple shots. The attack left a 22-year-old woman dead. The authorities are keeping the investigations open to identify and capture those responsible for the armed attack.
