44.7% sympathizes with the PRM, according to a survey

Santo Domingo.- According to the most recent Executive Report from the firm Markestrategia, which measured electoral preference for the 2028 presidential elections, it states that 44.7% of those surveyed sympathize with the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), placing it in first place among political organizations. This figure puts it ahead of its main competitors. The People's Force (LFP) registers 18.0%, while the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) obtains 14.7%. The other organizations present lower percentages. However, a 16.9% declares not to sympathize with any political party, which shows a significant segment of independent voters that could be decisive in future electoral processes.
You can also read: 43.8% believes that the PRM will continue in 2028
When asked if the PRM will remain in power beyond 2028, 43.8% believe that "it will surely continue", while 32.6% consider that "it will surely not continue". 15.1% think that "maybe it could continue". This scenario reflects that, although the ruling party maintains an advantage in sympathy, there is a relevant block that does not identify with any organization and that could tip the balance in future elections.
