World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development

World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development is celebrated on March 4, proclaimed by UNESCO in 2020.

This calendar date will be framed within the UN's 2030 Agenda and its purpose is to present engineering and technology projects that allow the goals set within the Sustainable Development Plan proposed by the nations to be achieved.

In 2025, UNESCO is organizing a live-streamed event where those interested can stay up-to-date on debates, current affairs, and everything related to the fundamental role of engineering in sustainable development. Representatives from the government, industry, and members of the scientific community have been invited. If you are interested in engineering, you cannot miss this event. The theme for 2025 is "Shaping our sustainable future through engineering".
