Punta Cana.- The commercial director of Coral Hospitality Corp., Ramón Tejeda, informed that the company projects investments ranging from 80 to 90 million dollars in the development of new hotels in the Dominican Republic, strengthening its presence in key tourist destinations.
Tejeda explained that the investment covers projects in Punta Cana, Puerto Plata, and Pedernales, including international brands and new hotel proposals. Among the main openings, the DoubleTree by Hilton in Punta Cana stands out, the first of this brand in the area, with 129 rooms. The hotel will be located in a strategic area with a wide range of entertainment, restaurants and nightlife, which will allow attracting both leisure and business tourists. Also, he announced the construction of a Holiday Inn in Cofresí, Puerto Plata, with 115 rooms, aimed at an urban model that seeks to attract business visitors and tourists who prefer a more flexible experience outside the all-inclusive scheme. In the south of the country, the company is developing another Holiday Inn in Pedernales, also with 115 rooms, which is scheduled to open in the first half of next year.
