British actor Aaron Pierre has officially joined the cast of the film Man of Tomorrow, the sequel to Superman within the new DC Studios cinematic universe.
According to reports, Pierre will play John Stewart, one of the most popular characters in the intergalactic Green Lantern Corps. His participation is part of the expansion plan of the franchise led by James Gunn, who directs and supervises the new stage of DC in cinema.
The actor will also bring the character to life in the series Lanterns, a production that will be part of the HBO Max catalog, before appearing in the highly anticipated cinematic sequel.
The film will once again feature David Corenswet as Superman and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. In addition, Rachel Brosnahan will participate as Lois Lane, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl.
