Police dismantle drug point and seize controlled substances in Villa Hermosa

La Romana. – With the aim of guaranteeing a climate of peace for the citizenry, members of the Rapid Action Unit of the Eastern Regional Directorate of the National Police intervened in an alleged point of sale of controlled substances in the Pica Piedra sector, of the Villa Hermosa municipality, where they seized several portions of drugs and a homemade weapon. During the operation, the sales center was dismantled and 37 portions of a vegetable, presumably marijuana, and 42 portions of a white, rocky material, presumably crack, were found, in addition to a homemade chagon-type weapon. The occupied evidence will be sent to the competent authorities for the corresponding legal purposes, while investigations continue.
