They denounce a new irregular action by a police colonel caught on video

Santo Domingo.-A new audiovisual material has come to light, showing an alleged action irregular of Colonel Fausto Madé Ramírez, which has generated concern and reactions in different sectors of society.

In the images, which were sent, the officer is observed on board a National Police truck, from which he apparently sprays a substance with the characteristics of pepper spray towards a group of people who were sitting on the public road. As can be seen in the video, the colonel stops the vehicle in front of the citizens and, after making a comment related to the use of a smoking device, suddenly proceeds to spread the irritant compound, causing the dispersal of those present. This new signage arises amid the collective rejection generated by other recent incidents in which the officer has also been involved, which has intensified questions about his conduct and the use of force. As of yet, the National Police has not issued an official statement regarding this particular event. However, various sectors have reiterated the call for a thorough and transparent investigation to clarify what happened and determine possible responsibilities.
