Santo Domingo.– Former President Leonel Fernández will hold a meeting this Wednesday at six in the afternoon with representatives of the Government, with the aim of moving towards a national agreement to face the global crisis derived from the war conflict in the Middle East and mitigate its impact on Dominican families.
The meeting will take place at the headquarters of the Global Democracy and Development Foundation and will be attended by ministers José Ignacio Paliza, Magín Díaz and Eduardo Sanz Lovatón, who will represent the Government in this dialogue.
The meeting seeks to generate joint proposals that contribute to reducing the economic effects of the international crisis, especially in vulnerable sectors of the population.
Fernández is expected to be accompanied by members of the economic team of Fuerza del Pueblo, the organization he presides over, in an effort to provide solutions based on experience and political consensus.
