Santo Domingo.– Dominican leader and former player Luis Polonia Jr. has been appointed as general manager of the national baseball team that will represent the country in the Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026.
The designation of Poland Jr. is part of the efforts to strengthen the structure of the Dominican team with a view to achieving an outstanding participation in the important regional event, which will be hosted by the city of Santo Domingo.
The new general manager will be responsible for forming a competitive team, integrating young and experienced talent from national baseball, as well as coordinating all operational and strategic aspects of the team.
With experience in the field and in administrative functions, Polonia Jr. takes on the challenge with the commitment to keep the Dominican Republic as one of the main baseball powers in the region.
