Yaguate, San Cristóbal. – The Pony Dominicana Baseball organization and the Yaguate City Council announced this Tuesday the celebration of the 13U Pony Baseball Premundial, in which more than 200 athletes from Latin America and the Caribbean will participate.
During a press conference, sports and municipal authorities offered details of the event, which will bring together young baseball talents in this demarcation.
The mayor of Yaguate and president of the organizing committee, José Oviedo, extended an invitation to the citizenry to support this important sporting event. He highlighted that the tournament represents an opportunity to promote the municipality and encourage sports among young people.
"We invite the entire population to support this event that will fill Yaguate and the entire province with pride, as it will be the setting for a high-level international tournament," he expressed.
From his side, the president of Pony Dominicana Baseball, Eugenio Báez, offered the organizational details of the tournament and indicated that the international delegations will begin to arrive in the country next Friday.
