They present the 13U Pony Baseball Premundial that will be held in Yaguate from May 1st to 7th

Yaguate, San Cristóbal. – The Pony Dominicana Baseball organization and the Yaguate City Council announced this Tuesday the celebration of the 13U Pony Baseball Premundial, in which more than 200 athletes from Latin America and the Caribbean will participate. During a press conference, sports and municipal authorities offered details of the event, which will bring together young baseball talents in this demarcation. The mayor of Yaguate and president of the organizing committee, José Oviedo, extended an invitation to the citizenry to support this important sporting event. He highlighted that the tournament represents an opportunity to promote the municipality and encourage sports among young people. "We invite the entire population to support this event that will fill Yaguate and the entire province with pride, as it will be the setting for a high-level international tournament," he expressed. From his side, the president of Pony Dominicana Baseball, Eugenio Báez, offered the organizational details of the tournament and indicated that the international delegations will begin to arrive in the country next Friday.

He also informed that the opening ceremony will be held on Saturday at 5:00 in the afternoon, with a parade that will start from the Central Park of Yaguate to the Municipal Stadium, where the competition will be officially opened. Báez explained that the matches will begin that same Saturday and will extend until Wednesday, May 6, while the closing ceremony will be held at the ecotourism restaurant La Chivería, where the most outstanding teams will be awarded. The 13U Pony Baseball Pre-World Cup will bring together athletes from countries such as the Bahamas, Aruba, San Martin, Panama, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic, establishing itself as a key platform for the development of youth baseball and the projection of future sports stars. With this initiative, Yaguate is positioned as an important international sports venue, reaffirming the commitment of its authorities and the Pony Baseball movement to promote young talent in the region.
