Santo Domingo, RD.- The actress, singer, and songwriter Techy Fatule, is part of the cast of the musical “RENT El Musical”, where she plays Maureen, a character she describes as a dream come true within her artistic career.
The artist assured that it was her sister and producer Karla Fatule, along with her brother-in-law Javier Grullón, who proposed the role to her, thus managing to incorporate it into her schedule. "It's a dream come true," she expressed in a conversation with De Último Minuto, highlighting the emotional importance of this project.
During the interview, conducted before the second consecutive performance at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, this Saturday, Fatule assured that, when looking at similarities with the character, there are some characteristics of her personality that coincide with him, including being daring, not stopping, going after her dreams, as well as being fair and embracing different social causes; characteristics that identify and define her character.
The artist also highlighted the vocal and physical intensity of the role, calling it one of the most demanding of her career. However, she affirmed that this demand is part of its appeal, adding that even offstage she maintains the character's energy. "Well, Karla is one of the reasons why I'm returning to musical theater, but the truth is this is my dream character.
"Super challenging, very vocally demanding, very physically demanding, but it makes me very happy to do it. Even when I leave the stage I leave hyper because she is hyper and it is definitely an opportunity that was given to me that I couldn't not accept," said Techy.
One of the most discussed elements by the interpreter is the dynamic of working as a family within the production of JaviKarla Producciones.

Fatule humorously recounted that, although disagreements arise during rehearsals, they end in laughter and hugs.
