He indicated that students from the Smart Classrooms installed in experimental high schools and academic centers in locations such as Constanza, Jarabacoa, Moca, and Santo Domingo Oeste will be able to access programs related to artificial intelligence and other high-demand technological areas. He also highlighted that the incorporation of technology into the university system has been one of the pillars of his management, citing initiatives such as the Compu-Ciencias project and the expansion of more than 30 Smart Classrooms in faculties, campuses and university centers. The rector also reported that the Avilés Blonda building will soon have new spaces for the training of talent specialized in emerging technologies, with the support of the central government. For her part, Rosario Bernard considered that the alliance combines the academic experience of UASD with the technological specialization of ITLA to respond to the demands of the digital economy and the new challenges of the labor market. "The agreement we are signing today unites history with the future, academic experience with applied innovation and national expansion with technological specialization," she said. The rector of ITLA pointed out that artificial intelligence, automation, cybersecurity, and semiconductors are redefining the global economy, therefore he considered it necessary to strengthen technological training in the country. In that context, he highlighted that ITLA has consolidated an academic offer composed of 18 technological careers, including artificial intelligence programs, 3D animation, and the first technologist in semiconductors in the Dominican Republic, an initiative driven with the support of President Luis Abinader. "Technological education is no longer a complement; it is a necessary national infrastructure to prepare the talent demanded by the industry of the future," he affirmed.
