Washington.- The White House launched this Thursday a map of arrests of immigrants around United States, on a website titled "aliens", whose cover is the silhouette of an extraterrestrial walking through the desert as a mockery of the idea that the country keeps secrets about space.
The portal opens with a text that scrolls like the one in the Star Wars movies, with blocks of text that appear as users scroll while stars fall in the background. "They walk among us," the website indicates and adds that "for 60 years, the U.S. government has jealously guarded a secret. Extraterrestrials have been walking among us, living in our neighborhoods and interacting with us in our daily lives. They have shopped in the same stores, attended the same classes as our children, and led an apparently normal human life." At the bottom of the page, a counter appears on the page showing the number of so-called "encounters" made, a figure that amounts to 3.1 million and continues to increase until Thursday night. We recommend reading:The White House sets up a temporary stadium for a UFC evening
The new map does not specify the time period of the captures, but due to the figure it could be the data disclosed by the Department of Homeland Security in a report that attaches the arrests from September 2024 to April of this year.
