The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, made new diplomatic appointments through decree 255-25, as part of the usual movements in the country's diplomatic and consular corps.
Among the appointments, the one of Rosendo Arsenio Borges Rodríguez stands out, who will assume functions as Consul General of the Dominican Republic in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This position is key to addressing consular affairs and strengthening ties with the Dominican diaspora in that city.
Likewise, the Head of State appointed César Julio Cedeño as an internal ambassador in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a position from which he will collaborate in the formulation and execution of the country's foreign policy.
