COMIPOL celebrates its 13th anniversary with a floral offering to the Fathers of the Nation

Santo Domingo.- The Military and Police Commission (COMIPOL) of the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) laid a floral offering at the Altar de la Patria to honor the founders of the Republic and to thank for the achievements of the institution in its 13 years of foundation. The activity was led by the director of COMIPOL, Colonel Luis Rafael Herrera Almonte, who highlighted the dedication and great work carried out jointly by the members of the entity he directs, who, regardless of the schedule, are always willing to serve the citizenry with efficiency, responsibility and humanity. “Nos reunimos aquí, en este espacio sagrado donde descansa el espíritu de la nación, para depositar una ofrenda floral que simboliza no solo gratitud, sino también, compromiso con la causa que dio origen a nuestra República. Esto es más que flores, es el juramento vivo de hombres y mujeres que día tras día sirven a la nación en las carreteras, salvando vidas y llevando esperanza”,

resaltó el coronel.
Subsequently, Herrera Almonte moved to the institutional headquarters to recognize the instructors of the first promotion of soldiers of COMIPOL, which dates back to 2012.

“Con profunda gratitud y admiración felicitamos a los instructores de la COMIPOL, que en el año 2012 tuvieron el honor y la responsabilidad de formar la primera promoción de soldados de esta noble institución”,

agregó.
