Santo Domingo.- The Eastern Electricity Distribution Company (EDEEste) reported that its technical personnel are actively and continuously working on normalizing the breakdowns caused by the effects of Hurricane Erin.
According to the company, among the main incidents recorded are broken crossarms, fallen medium voltage lines, downed poles and fallen trees that have impacted the electrical grids, in addition to other situations that have affected the service in various communities.
The gusts of wind and the rains that accompanied the atmospheric phenomenon also caused intermittencies in some areas of the EDEEste concession.
