Flujo de pasajeros hacia el Cibao se mantiene bajo en Miércoles Santo

Santo Domingo.– El flujo de pasajeros hacia la región Norte o Cibao se mantiene reducido durante este Miércoles Santo en las principales paradas de autobuses del Gran Santo Domingo, según informaron transportistas consultados.

De acuerdo con los choferes, la movilidad de viajeros ha sido limitada en comparación con años anteriores en esta misma etapa de la Semana Santa, cuando tradicionalmente se registra un mayor desplazamiento hacia el interior del país.

Este año se ha dado bueno hasta ahora, pero esperamos que mañana sea más fluido”, expresó Emmanuel Santana, al referirse a la cantidad de pasajeros que han abordado las unidades en las últimas horas.

A pesar del bajo flujo, los transportistas destacaron que mantienen expectativas de que el movimiento aumente a partir de este jueves, considerado uno de los días clave del asueto, cuando más personas suelen iniciar sus viajes.

En cuanto a los costos, indicaron que los precios de los pasajes se mantienen sin variación, pese al incremento que han experimentado los combustibles en las últimas semanas.

Mientras tanto, algunos ciudadanos señalaron que aprovecharán el feriado para realizar actividades familiares y recreativas, trasladándose hacia distintas provincias con el objetivo de descansar y compartir con sus allegados, al tiempo que reiteraron la importancia de evitar el consumo de alcohol durante los desplazamientos.

Las autoridades, por su parte, han insistido en el llamado a la prudencia y la responsabilidad durante el asueto, en medio de los operativos de prevención desplegados en todo el territorio nacional, con el fin de garantizar la seguridad de los viajeros.
