Journalist Edward Ramírez reported missing

The journalist from El Nuevo Diario, Edward Ramírez, has been missing since last night, Wednesday.

Ramírez, who is the coordinator of El Nuevo Diario TV, left the newspaper's premises at 8:07 p.m. and his whereabouts are currently unknown.

In the security cameras, Ramírez is seen getting into a vehicle requested through a transportation services application.

Since then, nothing has been heard about his whereabouts, which keeps both his family and his colleagues in uncertainty.

Ramírez was supposed to cover a shift on the morning of this Thursday and when he didn't report immediately, his colleagues missed him.

Upon going to his residence, his mother informed that he did not show up last night, increasing the anxiety.

The National Police and the National Emergency and Security System 911 were immediately notified, and they have begun the on-site investigations.
