Leaders and authorities of the Social Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRSD) began to receive the new identity and electoral card, as part of the process initiated by the Central Electoral Board for the delivery of the document in its new format to the main political parties of the country.
The first to complete the process was Luis Miguel De Camps, president of the PRSD, who went to the central headquarters of the electoral body, for the capture of his biometric and personal data.

De Camps expressed that this initiative of providing new identity cards by the Central Board, with a number of security mechanisms, is a process they recognize and support, so he called on citizens to go and get their new document once the mass delivery process begins. “We are convinced that the Board's work will continue to be strengthened, with a view to fulfilling all its responsibilities, both in the civil registry and in the electoral process,” added De Camps. He maintained that they were able to verify the number of measures that allow the improvement, agility and automation of the process to contribute to Dominicans being able to obtain their identity document quickly. Other leaders who received the identity document were Rafael Gamundi Cordero, founder of the Toro Party; Juan Estévez, general secretary; Julián Mateo, political delegate; José María Gómez, technical delegate; among other leaders. According to the calendar established by the Central Electoral Board, the delivery of the new ID card began at 3:00 in the afternoon with the authorities of the PRSD, according to the schedule organized for party blocks. The new identity and electoral card, which incorporates an updated format, can be used as a travel document and digitally, and is part of the modernization process of the citizen identification system promoted by the Central Electoral Board.
