The new president of Refidomsa announced that his vision will be focused on replicating the management model he applied at Banreservas: “I come the same way as I did at Banco de Reservas, although at different times, because you know, we entered in the middle of a pandemic, but at this moment when the economy is already completely recovered due to the great work that our President Luis Abinader has done, we come to transform the Dominican Petroleum Refinery.” Among his priorities, he mentioned strengthening the bond with clients, boosting innovation, and modernizing the plant: "Technological transformations must be verified here; there is a team that has been working for many years, and we have to see how we can adapt to the new transformations." Pereyra also highlighted the role of the refinery within the framework of international agreements: "You know that the President of the Republic himself has an agreement with Guyana and we are working with the Refinery; there are new oil exploration agreements being developed in the country, and I believe that the refinery can play a preponderant role in these aspects along with the private sector." Finally, he assured that his management will prioritize good service, a positive work environment, and respect for the environment.
