The ruling on the coercive measures requested by the Public Ministry against those accused in the alleged fraud of more than RD$15,000 million from the National Health Insurance (SeNaSa) will be announced this Sunday afternoon.
The announcement was made by Judge Rigoberto Sena, after concluding the arguments of the Public Prosecutor's Office and the defenses of the former director of SeNaSa, Santiago Marcelo, and nine other defendants.
Meanwhile, outside the New City Courthouse, a deployment of police authorities is maintained to safeguard the lives of those involved and maintain order during the process.
