A technical report revealed significant failures in the stage set up for the concert of the urban artist Anuel AA, originally scheduled at the Quisqueya Stadium. The document indicates that at least eight struts of the structure show subsidence, a direct consequence of the saturation of the ground after the recent heavy rains.
Faced with this discovery, the event organizers decided to postpone the concert for security reasons. The new date set for the presentation is Wednesday, July 30th. This measure seeks to guarantee the integrity of both the public and the technical and artistic team.
In response to the situation, corrective actions have begun to be implemented in the structure, including the installation of additional reinforcements, the use of metal plates to redistribute weight, and the reduction of the total load of the equipment on the platform.
