The lawsuit, filed by the interpreter and consisting of 38 pages, exposes alleged abuses and misuse of a power of attorney that Tokischa had granted to her ex-manager, who allegedly collected advances on her behalf for sums of money that the artist claims to be unaware of. The plaintiff alleges that, during years of working relationship with Raymi Paulus, she did not receive financial reports related to the income generated by her works and her image.
In that sense, Altagracia Peralta maintains that she was kept out of the money collected in her name, and that her ex-manager closed multiple agreements related to her music —such as licenses and contracts with various music companies— without her consent or approval.

According to the legal document: “Not content with their already exorbitant percentages, Raymi and Paulus Music also appropriated Tokischa's earnings”, referring to income that, previously, had been stipulated as belonging to the artist.

The legal action also details that, from the scarce resources she possessed, it was the artist who invested in the recording of her songs and even in the creation of her dancers' costumes, expenses that, according to the agreement, should have been covered by her management team.
This lawsuit seeks to free Tokischa from the absolute control of Raymi and Paulus Music; to compensate her for the damages suffered as a result of the breach of the representation agreements; and to demand a complete accounting of all amounts owed to her.
Raymi Paulus, known as a manager, producer, and director, began his working relationship with Tokischa from the beginning of her career. According to his statements, he met the artist during a filming in Duarte Park in the Colonial Zone, where he invited her to participate as a model. Since then, they began recording songs and working together on the development of the singer's musical project.
