Bogotá.- In the early hours of this Tuesday, the department of Cauca, located in western Colombia, was the scene of two car bomb explosions that disrupted public order, although so far there are no reports of fatalities or injuries. Local authorities confirmed the events, which occurred at two strategic points in the region.
The first attack took place in front of the Transit Secretariat of El Bordo, near the Pan-American highway, which connects Cauca with the neighboring department of Nariño. Following this, the second explosion was recorded in the town of Corinto, causing material damage to homes, commercial establishments, and a police station.
