The trade balance of Paraguay registered a deficit of 1,030.7 million dollars from January to November of this year, a period in which exports reached 15,535 million dollars, compared to 16,565.7 million dollars in imports, the issuer reported this Thursday.

The trade deficit from January to November ($1,030.7 million) is higher than the $242.9 million recorded in the same period of 2024.
Soybeans, with shipments worth $2.3481 billion between January and November last year, are the product with the highest exports, despite suffering a 25.1% drop compared to the $3.1364 billion accumulated in the same period of 2024.

Brazil was the main destination for Paraguayan exports with a value of 3,208.4 million dollars, representing 30.9% participation in the total shipments.
Secondly, Argentina is in second place with shipments of 3,134.4 million dollars and Chile, with 913.6 million dollars.
On the other hand, the largest imports until November were of electrical machinery and apparatus and their parts, with 3.067 million dollars, 25.9% more than in 2024.
The main source of imports to Paraguay was China with a participation of 34.4%, equivalent to 5,574.5 million dollars; followed by Brazil with purchases of 3,779.4 million dollars (23.3%); and the United States, with 1,010.7 million dollars (6.2%).
