The emotional reaction of a 96-year-old man upon receiving the news of Maduro's capture

A moving video starring a 96-year-old elderly man, in a state of advanced old age, who was lying in a bed when he received the news of the capture of the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, along with his wife, has gone viral on social media. The information was communicated to him by his granddaughter, Sabrina Azúcar, a fitness content creator. In the video, the young woman enters her grandfather's room and enthusiastically says: “Grandpa, they took Maduro.” Faced with surprise, the old man incredulously asks: “Who?” to which she replies: “Trump, it was Trump who took him.”

The grandfather's reaction was immediate: a gesture of surprise and doubt upon hearing that Nicolás Maduro had been captured by order of the President of the United States, Donald Trump. "Trump took Maduro, I swear, at two in the morning," insists his granddaughter. Visibly moved, the old man tries to answer, although due to his age and some health complications he fails to express himself clearly. Between gestures and broken words, he tries to ask if they had really arrested him. His granddaughter, excited, says to him: “Do you want us to go there?”, to which he replies, with difficulty: “I can't”. The video became one of the most emotional and viral of this Saturday on social media, generating thousands of reactions and comments, especially among Internet users who celebrated the good news.

This touching video was accompanied by a text added by the content creator, who expressed that her grandmother, the wife of the elderly man and already deceased, must be "happy in heaven" to know the news, stating that the Chavista regime would have left power in Venezuela.

Like this video, other content published by figures in politics, music, and entertainment has shaken social media in different parts of the world, reflecting the reaction of those who celebrate the possibility that Nicolás Maduro will not continue to lead the Venezuelan regime.
