The golf, athletics, water skiing, hockey, and beach volleyball competitions underwent schedule changes due to the impossibility of carrying them out amid the heavy rainfall and the saturation of the sports venues.
The climatic phenomenon not only affected the agenda of the youth games. According to reports from the newspaper ABC Color, the storm caused floods, falling trees and material damage in the microcenter of Asunción and in nearby locations such as Luque, Fernando de la Mora and Lambaré.
