Jearmanda Ramos, representing Punta Cana, was crowned tonight as the new Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2025. Her trajectory of resilience and service takes her to Miss Universe in search of the second crown for the country.

Santo Domingo.- Tonight the Dominican Republic celebrates the coronation of its new representative for Miss Universe: Jearmanda Ramos, representative of Punta Cana, who stood out throughout the competition, becoming the new queen of Dominican beauty. Jearmanda, one of the big favorites from the beginning of the contest, has been crowned as the new ambassador of the country in the international pageant, after competing alongside 28 other candidates for the coveted crown, scheduled to be held in Thailand. Ramos's life has been marked since her childhood by personal achievement. She is a model, holds a degree in International Business, and is a real estate agent, being the youngest of five siblings. As a child, she faced great challenges, including a loss at the age of 5 with the death of her mother, who died after facing a cancer diagnosis, an event that impacted her childhood and led her to face emotional challenges such as anxiety, loneliness, and episodes of depression during her adolescence.

Despite these challenges, she transformed each obstacle into an opportunity for growth, identifying along the way a clear purpose for her life: service and the transformation of lives. This vision drove her to found the organization "Juntos" in 2018. Initially, its goal was to bring joy to children during Christmas, but it has evolved into a platform for social impact. Currently, "Juntos" promotes educational programs focused on emotional well-being and human development. Among the projects she leads, "We Were All Girls Once" stands out. This initiative establishes a link with breast cancer patients, facilitating conversations where Ramos listens to and amplifies the experiences of these women. The goal is to raise awareness about the importance of physical and emotional health from childhood. Parallel to this, Ramos has built a career in the real estate sector, maintaining his commitment to contribute and leave a positive mark. Her selection as the new Miss Dominican Republic generates great expectation among Dominicans, who yearn for a second crown for the Dominican Republic in Miss Universe and see in her an opportunity to achieve the goal.
About Jearmanda Ramos  
Jearmanda's journey in beauty pageants is not recent. In 2016, she won the title of Miss Beauty Teenager RD, representing Puerto Plata. At that time, Ramos expressed that this was undoubtedly a big step towards the realization of a dream, making a promise to her father, Mr. Armando Ramos, that she would make him proud.

After this triumph, she had the responsibility of representing the Dominican Republic in Miss Teen Universe, held in Nicaragua.

Years later, in 2022, she was designated Miss Grand Dominican Republic, obtaining an important classification for the country in the coveted Top 20 position. With this solid base of personal and professional experience, Jearmanda Ramos now assumes the role of Miss Dominican Republic, which will undoubtedly bring great results in collaboration with the Miss Dominican Republic organization, led by Magali Febles. Her life story, characterized by the ability to turn adversity into service, accompanies her path to Miss Universe, generating a deep connection with the Dominican public and with many followers of beauty pageants internationally, who already consider her one of the great favorites.
