Santo Domingo Oeste.- The Public Ministry will hear this Friday at 12:00 noon, in the Prosecutor's Office of Santo Domingo Oeste, the request for a coercive measure against Eliza Valdez, identified by the family of the two-year-old child as the alleged responsible for his tragic death due to multiple physical aggressions.
The case has shocked the community of Los Alcarrizos, where the minor resided before his biological father took him to live with the father's partner, the alleged murderer, in the La Cuaba sector.

According to reports from the maternal relatives, the child died in suspicious circumstances and showed obvious signs of violence, including bruises, burns, and a cast on his arm.
The maternal grandmother, Yaneli Vicente, recounted through tears that since the child's mother emigrated to the United States, she took care of the baby and another little sister. However, after being taken by their father to live with him, access to them was limited and signs of possible mistreatment began to worry the family.
The child's grandfather, Luis Alberto Hierro Núñez, and his uncle Richard Vicente also expressed their indignation, pointing out that since the move, isolation and lack of communication were constant.
Family members demand justice and that, if the guilt of the accused is proven, the highest penalty be imposed on her.
The coercive measure hearing is scheduled for this Friday, May 23rd at noon, and the prosecution is expected to present the elements that support the accusation against the stepmother, Eliza Valdez.
