Los Ángeles.- Ariana Grande announced this Tuesday the beginning of a new musical stage, with the launch of her eighth studio album, which will be titled ‘Petal’, and which will be released on July 31st.
The American artist has welcomed this new chapter with a photograph on her Instagram account in which she appears smiling and without her characteristic ponytail.
The new record has been co-written between Grande and the Swedish-Persian producer Ilya Salmanzadeh.

This announcement comes at a time of great activity for the artist, who will return to the stage during the summer with 'The Eternal Sunshine,' her first tour in seven years, following her previous album, and with which she will tour North America and will have five stops in London. The tour will also be Grande's return to the stage since 2019, when she promoted the albums 'Sweetener' and 'Thank U, Next'. Since then, the singer and actress has focused on projects such as the successful fantasy musical 'Wicked', where she plays Glinda and whose second part premiered on November 21st. The first installment was nominated for ten Oscars, of which it won two.
