"Cacon", one of the accused of abusing a minor in Los Frailes II, is delivered.

Santo Domingo.– A man known as “Cacon”, identified as one of the alleged perpetrators in the sexual abuse of a 15-year-old teenager, which occurred on January 25 in the Los Frailes II sector, Santo Domingo Este, surrendered to the authorities. The youngest, who had asked her mother for permission to attend a birthday party, met one of the accused on the way, who offered to take her to the place. During the journey, the individual allegedly gave her a drink that made her lose consciousness. The victim remained silent for weeks for fear that the owner of a drug point, located on the same corner where the event occurred, would attack their family. According to family members, the teenager, who traveled from Spain to spend holidays in the country, was a victim of sexual abuse and contracted a sexually transmitted disease from one of those involved.

"Cacon" decided to surrender after the public call made this Thursday morning by journalist Ramón Tolentino on the Esto No Es Radio platform. Currently, Jean Carlos, alias “Yeka,” has been under a three-month coercive measure at the La Victoria National Penitentiary, while Jeissel Florián, alias “Yankee,” remains a fugitive from justice. Authorities assured that the corresponding measures will be taken so that the accused face a fair judicial process, while the minor's relatives insist that exemplary sanctions be imposed and that the family's safety be guaranteed in the face of the threats they have received.
