Washington.- The spokesperson for former US President Bill Clinton (1993-2001) came to his defense after a photograph of the president in a jacuzzi appeared among the new files unveiled by the Department of Justice (DOJ).
The spokesman, Ángel Ureña, assured that there are "two types of people": those who knew nothing and cut ties with Epstein when his crimes came to light, and those who "continued their relationship with him afterwards," and he assured that Clinton is in the first group.
In his statement, published on X, Ureña criticized the strategy of the President's Administration, Donald Trump, for the publication of the files, assuring that the White House uses the image of the former president to hide a truth that they do not want to come to light.
Everyone, especially those who support MAGA, expect answers and not scapegoats, concluded Clinton's spokesperson.
The reaction arose after the DOJ published thousands of files to meet the deadline that the law gives them to release the files and that among them was a photograph of Bill Clinton inside a jacuzzi with a person next to him with a censored face.
The U.S. Justice Department released a total of 3,965 files, with an approximate size of 3 gigabytes, distributed across four new datasets.
