Monte Plata.— The deputy Jhon Contreras reaffirmed his commitment to sports development in the province, by leading a series of activities this Saturday morning in different communities.
During his agenda, the legislator visited the municipal district of Mama Tingó, where he delivered basketballs to young people from the Hato Viejo community, with the aim of promoting the practice of sports and supporting local talent. Subsequently, Contreras moved to the head municipality of Monte Plata, where he participated in the opening ceremony of the XXI Superior Softball Tournament Monte Plata 2026, having the honor of throwing the first ball. In addition, he delivered sports equipment to the participating teams.
