The proposal was shared through his social media, where the artist posted a video getting on a private jet where he knelt down and proposed, accompanied by an emotional message. In the publication, Julio Adonis Gross, the DJ's given name, expressed his gratitude to Lugo for having shared more than a decade of life together, highlighting the fundamental role she has played in his personal and professional development. Furthermore, he stated that the marriage proposal represents the fulfillment of a promise he had made some time ago. "I promised to make you the happiest woman in the world and I swear I will keep that promise," Adoni wrote. In the message, he also acknowledged the support he has received from his partner in complex moments and highlighted that their relationship has strengthened over the years thanks to their shared faith.
