Santo Domingo. – The National Institute of Transit and Land Transportation (INTRANT) and the Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (MINERD) signed a collaboration agreement that will integrate road education as part of the training process for high school students, with the goal of making it a graduation requirement in the coming years.
The initiative will begin to be implemented gradually starting next school year and includes the participation of students in the volunteer program "Traffic Guardians", where they can complete up to 30 hours of social work related to road safety education.

The agreement is part of a national strategy aimed at strengthening the culture of respect, prevention, and responsibility on public roads, integrating road safety education programs in public and private educational centers in the country.
