National Police seizes drugs, money and illicit objects during preventive intervention

Members of the National Police carried out an intervention at a point of sale and consumption of controlled substances in the municipality of Jima Abajo, where several people, upon noticing the police presence, fled, leaving a package abandoned at the scene.

Upon requisition of the aforementioned package, several portions of a green vegetable, presumably marijuana, were found inside; thirty-eight (38) additional portions of the same material; five (05) portions of a white powder, presumably cocaine; and one (01) portion of a rocky material, presumably crack.

Also, papers for the preparation of substances, a scale, a container with an unknown liquid, seven (07) packs of cigarettes and the sum of twenty-three thousand five hundred and fifteen Dominican pesos (RD$23,515.00) in cash were seized.
