New York Yankees Foundation donates to FACCI in the Dominican Republic

The contribution of the New York organization and its academy in the Dominican Republic, through its foundation, will improve FACCI's work in the fight against childhood cancer in the country. Santo Domingo.- The New York Yankees Foundation made a significant donation of $16,000 to the Friends Against Childhood Cancer Foundation (FACCI), reaffirming the organization's ongoing commitment to supporting social causes in the Dominican Republic. The delivery was made during a special event led by Joel Lithgow, Yankees director for Latin America, and Melissa Hernández, assistant player development and education of the organization. "With this donation we are supporting FACCI in the great work they do. Our mission together with FACCI is that every child with cancer has the opportunity to face their illness with dignity and win this battle," Lithgow expressed during the activity.
