Washington.- A medical report released by the White House this Friday states that the cardiovascular health of the US President, Donald Trump, is equivalent to that of a person 14 years younger, a fact included in a medical evaluation that describes the 79-year-old president in a state of "excellent" health and cognitively sound.

According to the report signed by the White House physician, Sean Barbabella, Trump has a "cardiac age" of 65 years, despite turning 80 on June 14th. The results of the evaluation, conducted on May 26 at the Walter Reed military medical center, also highlight normal cardiac function, with no evidence of heart failure or other significant cardiovascular conditions. The report also addresses the visible bruises on the president's hands, which in recent months have generated public speculation, and the doctor attributed the marks to a combination of frequent handshakes and the daily use of aspirin as part of a preventive cardiovascular regimen, ruling out that they are a sign of a more serious medical problem. Perfect Score on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment

The main medical anomaly mentioned by the presidential doctor is a slight swelling in the legs caused by chronic venous insufficiency, a condition considered common and benign in people over 70 years old. Additionally, the personal physician assures that Trump obtained a perfect score of 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) cognitive test, while laboratory analyses and an echocardiogram showed results within normal parameters, according to the evaluation released by the White House. The report also underlines the president's prolonged abstinence from alcohol and tobacco, habits that Barbabella pointed out among the factors that favor his current state of health. The Republican, close to turning 80 years old, weighs about 224 pounds (101.6 kilos) and is 6 feet 3 inches (1.90 meters) tall, according to the details of the test.
