Washington.- A medical report released by the White House this Friday states that the cardiovascular health of the US President, Donald Trump, is equivalent to that of a person 14 years younger, a fact included in a medical evaluation that describes the 79-year-old president in a state of "excellent" health and cognitively sound.
According to the report signed by the White House physician, Sean Barbabella, Trump has a "cardiac age" of 65 years, despite turning 80 on June 14th. The results of the evaluation, conducted on May 26 at the Walter Reed military medical center, also highlight normal cardiac function, with no evidence of heart failure or other significant cardiovascular conditions. The report also addresses the visible bruises on the president's hands, which in recent months have generated public speculation, and the doctor attributed the marks to a combination of frequent handshakes and the daily use of aspirin as part of a preventive cardiovascular regimen, ruling out that they are a sign of a more serious medical problem.
