Tegucigalpa.- The III Ibero-American Tourism Forum will be held from June 1 to 3 in San Pedro Sula, northern Honduras, with the participation of representatives from the main public and private institutions throughout Ibero-America, an official source reported this Saturday.
The event, which will be inaugurated by the Honduran president, Nasry 'Tito' Asfura, will bring together around 1,000 participants and will be held under the theme 'Technology and development: intelligence that empowers territories'.
Among the forum participants are the permanent secretary of the Council of Ibero-American Entrepreneurs (CEIB) and director of Relations with Ibero-America of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), Narciso Casado.
Entities such as the United Nations, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), among others, support the official forum of business meetings of the Ibero-American Summits.
According to the forum organizers, more than ten government representatives, 20 institutions, 23 business organizations, 500 companies, and numerous foundations, associations, tourism industry guilds, universities, and experts from all over Ibero-America will attend the conference to learn how the tourism is advancing towards a more intelligent and human model.
