SNS contacts Dayron's family after request for help spread on social media

Santo Domingo.– The National Health Service (SNS) reported this Friday that it began coordinating to assist the child Dayron, after learning of the request for help disseminated through a publication made by De Último Minuto.

Through a comment on the publication, the entity explained that, after learning about the case, it carried out the corresponding procedures to contact the family members using the phone numbers shared with the aim of coordinating the required medical attention.

According to the SNS, Dr. Aybar has already established communication with the minor's mother to follow up on the case and facilitate the necessary coordination for his admission and specialized care.

The institution also specified that the Public Health Network currently has beds in Pediatric Intensive Care Units (ICU) in both Santo Domingo and Santiago, centers where the child could be treated according to the corresponding medical evaluations. The organization reiterated its commitment to provide support and accompaniment to families requiring specialized care within the public health network, while ensuring that it will continue to follow up on Dayron's case.
