Man arrested with 18 packages of alleged cocaine during operation in Bávaro-Friusa

Punta Cana.- Members of the National Police attached to the Friusa-Bávaro Division arrested a man who was found with 18 packages of a white powder, presumably cocaine, during an operation carried out in the Los Corales sector, in the province of La Altagracia.

The detainee was identified as "José Ramón Berroa Carrasco", 39 years of age, residing in the "Las Caobas de Herrera" sector, in the municipality of "Santo Domingo Oeste". According to the preliminary report from the authorities, the arrest took place around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, May 29, when police officers were carrying out preventive work on Alemania Street, near a fuel station located in the tourist area of Los Corales, Bávaro-Friusa.
