Woman dies after alleged attack by ex-partner in Verón-Punta Cana

Punta Cana.- A woman identified as Yuri Estebania Zapata Pichardo, 41 years old, died after suffering serious injuries allegedly caused by her former partner during an incident that occurred in the municipal district of Verón-Punta Cana, province La Altagracia.

According to preliminary information, the victim was attacked in circumstances that are still under investigation by the authorities. After the incident, Zapata Pichardo suffered serious injuries that subsequently caused his death. The case has generated consternation among family, friends, and residents of the area, who lament the outcome and demand justice for what happened.
