Santo Domingo. – The possible approval of a mining exploitation project for gold extraction in the province of San Juan continues to generate debate, with mixed reactions gathered in the streets of Santo Domingo.
In a survey conducted by the De Último Minuto team, citizens of Greater Santo Domingo expressed diverse opinions about the initiative. Some believe that mining could represent an opportunity for economic development and job creation for the region.
Others consulted admitted not knowing details of the project, indicating that more information is needed from the authorities in order to establish a clear position on the matter.
